BankProv Announces $10,000 Donation to City Year New Hampshire in Celebration of Their 25th Anniversary

BankProv, one of the nation’s oldest banks and a steadfast financial partner to businesses and individuals throughout Northeastern Massachusetts and Southern New Hampshire, is proud to announce a $10,000 donation to City Year New Hampshire as the organization marks its 25th anniversary of service.

City Year AmeriCorps members serve as full-time Student Success Coaches in Manchester schools in New Hampshire. These City Year AmeriCorps members form positive developmental relationships with students, enabling them to deliver integrated academic support to foster student success. Their mission to expand educational opportunities and develop the next generation of leaders through national service resonates deeply with BankProv’s commitment to fostering growth, opportunity, and vibrant communities.

“At BankProv, we believe that having a strong and meaningful connection to our communities is critical to our success,” said Joe Reilly, President and CEO of BankProv. “City Year’s work with students and empowering young leaders aligns perfectly with our mission to support causes that improve lives and strengthen communities. We are honored to support City Year New Hampshire as they celebrate 25 years of inspiring and impactful service.”

City Year AmeriCorps members provide critical support to students, classrooms, and school communities, ensuring that students furthest from opportunity receive the resources they need to thrive. Research consistently shows that the more time students spend with these dedicated coaches, the better their outcomes academically and socially. City Year has been a trailblazer in creating a positive ripple effect that benefits not only students but also the communities they live in.

“This generous contribution from BankProv allows us to continue delivering on our mission to help students succeed and develop and recognize the next generation of leaders,” said Pawn Nitichan, City Year New Hampshire’s Executive Director. “Support from community-focused organizations like BankProv ensures we can sustain and expand our programs, positively impacting students and schools in New Hampshire.”

City Year is a public-private partnership that operates in 30 U.S. cities. Over its 25 years, City Year New Hampshire has empowered thousands of students and alumni, inspiring a legacy of service and leadership that continues to grow.
