BankProv, a trusted leader in commercial banking with a history dating back to 1828, is proud to announce its upcoming food drive to support the communities where its branches are located. This initiative aligns with BankProv’s long-standing commitment to giving back and fostering the growth of vibrant, healthy communities.
From October 7th through November 8th, 2024, BankProv invites community members to donate non-perishable food items at any of its seven branch locations during normal business hours. As a token of appreciation, the first 100 donations made at each branch will receive a reusable grocery bag.
"At BankProv, we believe in the power of community and the importance of giving back," said Joe Reilly, President & CEO of BankProv. "With the Thanksgiving holiday approaching, it's a critical time to support those in need. Our food drive is just one way we can make a meaningful impact in the communities we serve."
To kick off the drive, BankProv will host an employee event where staff members are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items, demonstrating our collective commitment to supporting those in need. The food drive will benefit several local organizations:
- Amesbury, MA | 5 Market Street and 1 Haverhill Road: Our Neighbors Table
- Newburyport, MA | 66 Storey Avenue: Pettengill House
- Bedford, NH | 115 South River Road: Manchester YMCA
- Exeter, NH | 95 Portsmouth Ave: End 68 Hours of Hunger
- Portsmouth, NH | 25 Maplewood Avenue: Gather
- Seabrook, NH | located at 1 Provident Way: Gather
In addition to collecting food donations, BankProv will make a monetary donation to each of these food banks to further support their efforts in combating hunger and food insecurity.
