BankProv Expands Into Boston with the Addition of Gabrielle Piasio, Vice President, Commercial Lending

BankProv announced today the addition of Gabrielle Piasio, Vice President, Commercial Lending, to the Bank. With over a decade of experience in commercial banking, Gabrielle is well equipped to spearhead the bank’s effort to increase its presence in the Boston business market.

“I was attracted to BankProv’s innovative, yet personal approach to serving its commercial customers,” comments Piasio. “With a focus on the Bank’s niche market of commercial lending and mergers and acquisitions, I have the opportunity to really make a difference to the small and medium sized businesses that make Boston a great place to live and work. I am excited to lead the bank’s efforts to expand into Boston.”

In addition to mergers and acquisitions, Piasio will also play a lead role in assisting clients with real estate transactions in the city.

“Gabrielle’s expansive skill set, drive and desire to help small to medium sized businesses grow and succeed is the perfect additional to our commercial lending team,” said Chuck Withee, President and Chief Lending Officer. “We needed an experienced lender to help us expand into Boston, and we found the perfect fit in Gabrielle. We are excited to welcome her to The Provident.”

Prior to joining BankProv, Piasio was the Vice President, Business Banking Relationship Manager at Santander Bank, and held several senior roles, including Senior Vice President, Senior Business Banking Relationship Manager, at People’s United Bank. She earned her MBA and B.S. from Florida State University College of Business.

“The positive energy and collaborative environment I have found at BankProv affirmed to me that this is the place I want to be,” continues Piasio. “After nearly seven years working for larger institutions, it was important to me to return to a smaller organization where my core values matched that of the Bank. That is what I have found at BankProv.”
