Meet Our Leadership Team

Joe Reilly
President & CEO

Joseph B. Reilly brings over 35 years of banking industry experience to his role as President & CEO at BankProv. He joined the bank in 2018 as Chairman on the Board of Directors, transitioned to the role of CEO in 2022, and was appointed President & CEO in 2024. His extensive career in banking includes founding Centrix Bank, where he served as President and CEO until its merger with Eastern Bank in October 2014. He also held key positions at Bank of New Hampshire, TD Bank, Centerpoint Bank, and Fleet Bank. Joe is a former Chairman and Director of the NH Bankers Association (NHBA); Chairman of the NHBA Legislative Committee; State of NH Captain for Team 21, a national organization of the American Bankers Association (ABA); and a member of the Government Relations Council of the ABA. In addition to his professional achievements, Joe is committed to community service and has held numerous leadership positions on not-for-profit boards. His dedication to both his profession and his community exemplifies the values and mission of BankProv. Joe earned an MBA from the Peter T. Paul School of Business and Economics at the University of New Hampshire.


Anne Lapointe, Executive Team

Chief of Staff

Anne Lapointe has been with BankProv since 2005, currently serving as the Chief of Staff. With over 22 years of banking experience, she has held several key positions within the bank, including Branch Manager, Chief Talent Officer, and Chief Administrator. Her background enables her to foster cross-departmental collaboration, coordinate executive initiatives, and ensure seamless execution of the bank’s strategic goals. Prior to joining BankProv, Anne gained valuable experience in the retail industry, holding various positions at J. Crew and Esprit. A native of Quebec, Canada, Anne worked with adolescents at risk before moving to the Seacoast of Maine with her son Emmanuel. This diverse background honed her skills in empathy and communication and equipped her with a deep understanding of customer service and operational efficiency, which she continues to leverage in her current role. Anne is deeply rooted in her community and has served on various boards over the years, including the Krempels Brain Injury Foundation, Arts In Reach, Business and Industries Association of New Hampshire, and the New Hampshire Film Festival. Anne holds a Diplôme d’Etude Collégiale in Psycho-Education from Champlain College in Lennoxville, Quebec.

Joseph J. Kenney has been with BankProv since 2012, and currently serves as Executive Vice President and Chief Lending Officer. With 27 years of experience in the banking industry, Joe focuses on overseeing BankProv’s lending operations, ensuring the delivery of high-quality loan products, and maintaining strong client relationships. Before his current role, Joe held leadership positions at BankProv as Director of Commercial Lending and at People’s United Bank as Vice President of Commercial Lending. In addition to his professional achievements, Joe is deeply committed to his community. He serves as a Board Member of Granite YMCA, Treasurer and Board Member of Friends of the Manchester Animal Shelter, Treasurer and Board Member of the Granite State District Export Council, and a member of the Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy Steering Committee at the Regional Economic Development Center. Joe earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Southern New Hampshire University.

Joe Mancini joined BankProv in 2020 and currently serves as the Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. Joe has a proven track record in banking and financial technology, leveraging over two decades of experience in the financial services industry to drive innovative and customer-centric solutions. His leadership has been instrumental in advancing BankProv’s mission by seamlessly integrating modern technologies with traditional banking practices to meet evolving client needs. Before joining BankProv, Joe held senior executive positions at Radius Bank and East Boston Savings Bank. He is a recognized thought leader in the industry, frequently speaking at conferences and contributing to discussions on the future of banking and financial technology. Joe actively engages in volunteer initiatives through the Bank’s charitable foundation and dedicates his time as a coach for youth sports programs in his community. He earned a Bachelor’s degree from Northeastern University.


Ken Fisher
Executive Vice President & Chief Financial Officer

Kenneth R. Fisher serves as the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at BankProv, a role he assumed in 2024. With 18 years of experience in the banking industry, Ken oversees the bank’s finance, treasury, accounting, and investor relations functions. Before joining BankProv, Ken was the EVP and CFO of Meridian Bancorp, Inc. and East Boston Savings Bank, where he played a key role in financial strategy and operations. His extensive background in finance and leadership has equipped him with the skills to drive BankProv’s financial success and strategic growth. In addition to his professional achievements, Ken is actively involved in community service. He currently serves on the board of the PCCO Charitable Foundation and is an active volunteer in various community initiatives. Ken holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) with a concentration in Accounting from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst’s Isenberg School of Management. He is a Certified Public Accountant and a graduate of the New England School for Financial Studies (NESFS).


Janine Jakubauskas
Executive Vice President, Chief Risk Officer

Janine Jakubauskas serves as the Executive Vice President and Chief Risk Officer at BankProv, where she leads the Enterprise Risk Program. With over 13 years of industry experience, Janine focuses on aligning risk management strategies with the bank’s overarching goals ensuring that risk plays a key role in strategic decisioning. Throughout her career, Janine has held various positions within Finance and Risk Management at large foreign and domestic financial institutions and within the supervision function of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York. She is deeply knowledgeable in banking regulations, including the Dodd-Frank Act, and brings a unique background that includes experience being at the forefront of building risk frameworks for newer to industry products and services ensuring alignment with emerging regulations. Beyond her professional endeavors, Janine is deeply committed to giving back to the community, particularly through her involvement with various animal charities and organizations dedicated to supporting feline welfare. Janine earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a major in Economics & International Business from Rider University, graduating Summa Cum Laude as part of the business school’s Honors Program. She also holds an MBA from Binghamton University.


David Gagnon
Executive Vice President, Chief Credit Officer

David J. Gagnon serves as the Executive Vice President and Chief Credit Officer at BankProv, a position he has held since 2017. With over 30 years of experience in the banking industry, David is responsible for overseeing Commercial Credit Management and Special Assets, ensuring the bank maintains exceptional credit quality and robust risk management practices. Prior to his current role, David served as the Senior Vice President and Senior Credit Officer at TD Bank. His extensive background also includes positions such as Commercial Lending Team Leader at TD Bank, as well as various roles at Citizens Bank, where he refined his expertise in commercial lending and credit risk management. David earned both his Bachelor of Arts in Management Advisory Services and his MBA in Business from New Hampshire College, now Southern New Hampshire University.


Leanne Corning
Senior Vice President, Client Experience

Leanne M. Corning has been with BankProv since 2010 and currently serves as Senior Vice President of Client Experience. With 26 years of experience in the banking industry, Leanne focuses on overseeing the overall client experience, driving deposit acquisition, and managing retail banking operations. She also serves as the EOS Champion, aligning the company’s strategic goals with its operations. Before her current role, Leanne held several key positions at BankProv, including VP of Relationship Banking, AVP Regional Branch Manager, AVP Branch Manager for the Newburyport Office, and Assistant Branch Manager. Prior to joining BankProv, she gained valuable experience as an Assistant Branch Manager at Institution for Savings and TD Bank. In addition to her professional achievements, Leanne is deeply committed to her community. She serves on the Board of Directors for The Winner’s Circle Running Club, where she is the Overall Race Director, managing the oversight of all club races. She currently serves on the board of the PCCO Charitable Foundation and is an active volunteer in various community initiatives. Leanne earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Human Resources from Salem State University. In 2019, she completed a two-year program at The New England School for Financial Studies, which has enhanced her expertise and continues to benefit her in her current role.


Amber Barbere, CWPC
Senior Vice President, Human Resources

Amber M. Barbere joined BankProv in 2021, bringing with her a wealth of experience and a deep commitment to fostering employee engagement, performance, retention, and growth. As the Senior Vice President of Human Resources, Amber is instrumental in shaping the Bank’s human resources strategies while ensuring a supportive and dynamic work environment. Before joining BankProv, Amber held key HR leadership positions at several notable organizations. As the Director of Human Resources at Mycronic, Inc. and Xeros Technology Group, she led initiatives to enhance the employee experience while driving HR excellence, and during her tenure at Goss International, she created an award-winning and cost savings wellness plan. Beyond her professional achievements, Amber is deeply involved in community service. She is a member of the Worksite Wellness Council of Massachusetts, serves on the board of The Actors Studio of Newburyport and participates in the Newburyport Public Schools Parent Council. Amber earned her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Westfield State University and is a Certified Wellness Program Coordinator (CWPC) and a Licensed Social Work Associate (LSWA).
